We are kicking off our “Dining Under the Stars” summer series with guest food trucks Zea May’s and Little Baby’s Ice Cream. Each Friday between June 21st and August 16th, a handful of pop-up guest food vendors will set up just outside the park site for an al fresco dinner service. Here’s a little bit about our first two vendors:
Zea May’s: Zea May’s Kitchen cooks up a modern cuisine inspired by America’s first peoples, for healthy urban dining on the go. The menu is largely vegetarian, with a number of vegan and gluten-free items. You’ll find foods made with ingredients that are common in Native American cuisines – corn, quinoa, wild rice, bison, beans, squash, berries, nuts and seeds, and chocolate.
Little Baby’s Ice Cream: Little Baby’s Ice Cream is a Hand-Made, Small-Batch, Super-Premium Ice Cream company, specializing in unique and surprising flavor combinations with additional emphasis on providing Non-Dairy and Vegan options to suit every kind of open-minded and convivial citizen. Ice Cream is for everyone.
Stay late to catch a free movie in the park as a part of our Moonlight Movies summer series. This week we are screening Life of Pi, the story of a young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger. Full a full schedule of Dining Under the Stars’ and Moonlight Movies’ vendors and films, click here.
