The Fairmount Arts Crawl is an annual event that attracts over 4,000 residents, visitors and art lovers alike to the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia. Come out and stroll down the avenue visiting over 45 different businesses-turned-art-venues housing over 70 installations. Along the way enjoy music, dancing, kids activities, live demonstrations and so much more!

***New to the Arts Crawl this year, Fairmount CDC is partnering with The Barnes Foundation to highlight a Fairmount Arts Crawl artist to discuss their work at The Barnes Foundation, as it relates and connects to the legendary Barnes Collection. Meei Ling Ng, a sustainability-driven, multi-media installation artist and graphic designer has been selected for this opportunity. The Artists Spotlight is part of the ongoing Barnes Foundation programming called ‘Conversations with the Collection.’ Meei Ling Ng will discuss her work Friday, April 26th at 5:30 p.m. at The Barnes Foundation. Restaurant Week with Art – Sunday, April 21st – Thursday, April 25th, with some restaurants extending through Sunday, April 28th. Restaurant week features 3 courses for $35 or less.
Fairmount Arts Crawl Meet-Up at the Philadelphia Museum of Art – Wednesday, April 25th, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Pay what you wish.
Artist Spotlight at The Barnes Foundation – Friday, April 26th, 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tickets available for purchase at www.barnesfoundation.org.
Live Music – This year Arts Crawl will feature 11 talented local bands and musicians who will be playing throughout the neighborhood during the festival. Interested in checking these performers out? Make sure you head to Fare, Lemon Hill, Mugshots and Bishop’s Collar.
Food Trucks – 22nd Street, along Eastern State Penitentiary, will be lined with various flavors of food trucks. There will be everything from surf ’n turf and hot dogs to cupcakes and ice cream!
Dancing Lessons – Don’t forget your dancing shoes because LifeSport will be offering dance lessons during the Crawl, courtesy of Anna Zacharcenko and Dance Philadelphia.
Pottery Demonstrations – Neil and Sandi of Neighborhood Potters on the Avenue will be featuring pottery demonstrations during the Arts Crawl, all are welcome to attend!
Activities for the Kids – Bring the kids out to the Fairmount Art Center on 25th Street for peanut butter face painting, interactive music and hands-on art making stations!
Mugshots After Party – Join the gang at Mugshots on Fairmount Avenue after the Arts Crawl for live music, wine tasting and much more.
